We are pleased to announce an upgrade to our VPN (virtual private network) service.

For McIntire Students, Faculty and Staff Only
To connect to the McIntire file servers (F, G, R and S drives)
To connect to the McIntire mail server using Outlook
To use certain IP address restricted resources

Once you are connected to the VPN, you may access services such as exchange and file servers.

Please see the File Servers page for information of accessing your network file server accounts.
 

! All machines physically connected to the University Network must register their MAC (Hardware) Address before they can access the internet.

McIntire owned machines must be registered by helpdesk personnel

Personal Machines may be registered by their owners.
ITC Network Registration

Guest speakers and presenters can obtain a PIN for network access from the helpdesk.

Undergraduate Programs

All UVa students, faculty and staff can use the wireless access points, but they must first register their wireless card with ITC.  Instructions on registering the card and other information on wireless can be found here:
