Michael Alpert

Michael Alpert, a Vice President in the Private Wealth Management group at Goldman Sachs, advises clients regarding broad asset allocation strategy and alternative investments and has extensive experience in integrating portfolio strategy with tax-efficient estate and philanthropic planning.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2004, Mr. Alpert was a Vice President of Portfolio Management and Research for CSI Capital Management.

Previously, he was an investment analyst at Putnam Investments, specializing in high-yield investments in the telecommunications industry. Prior to Putnam, Mr. Alpert was an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Alpert received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School in 2000 and a B.S. with distinction from the University of Virginia in 1994. He was awarded his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2002.
