Roger L. Calvert

Roger Calvert is President and Chief Executive Officer of Ferris, Baker Watts (FBW), one of the largest full-service regional brokerage/investment banking firms in the nation. Headquartered in Baltimore, FBW has more than 40 offices throughout the mid-Atlantic and mid-West and is a member of the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and SIPC and is a wholly owned by its employees. Mr. Calvert graduated from McIntire in 1972 with a concentration in finance; he received an M.B.A. from The College of William and Mary and has served on the Advisory Board since 2001.

Mr. Calvert began his career at FBW in 1974 in the Public Finance Department serving as a financial advisor to municipalities. His academic interests include real estate and municipal finance. In addition to participating as a regional representative for the Virginia Athletics Foundation, he has served on both the mid-Atlantic and National Capital Area American Heart Association boards. His interests include running, architecture, and college lacrosse. He resides in Ellicott City, Md., with his wife, Barbara.
