J. Fredrick Kelly Jr.

Frederick Kelly is President of Aeroglide Corporation, a Raleigh, N.C., manufacturer of dryers and coolers for a variety of industrial markets.

A Raleigh native, he attended the local public schools, graduated from the University of Virginia, and obtained an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina. After several years in industry, he joined Aeroglide in 1977, spending his first 10 years in a corporate subsidiary in Orlando, Fla. He returned to Raleigh in 1987 and become CEO in 1991.

He served on the Board of Dick Broadcasting Company in Knoxville and Bolton Corporation in Raleigh. He is presently a Director of Augusta Coating & Manufacturing in Augusta. He was a Director of the National Association of Manufacturers for six years and a member of Young Presidents' Organization for 12 years.

His civic involvement has included board memberships with Junior Achievement, the Rex Hospital Foundation, the McIntire School of Commerce Advisory Board, the North Carolina State University Board of Visitors, and the North Carolina State University Foundation. He is also an Elder at White Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Kelly has been married to his wife, Judy, for 27 years, and they have two adult sons.
