Art at McIntire

In keeping with the tradition of Thomas Jefferson's model and the McIntire School of Commerce's vision of developing well-rounded students, we support the diversity of art and its interaction with commerce. The John P. Connaughton Art Gallery, located on the third floor of Robertson Hall, is the perfect space for showcasing art generated by McIntire and UVA students. The current exhibit in the art gallery showcases artwork from six UVA students: Alex Chiou (McIntire '11), Alexandra Happersett (A&S '13), Miles Morin (A&S '11), Kevin Park (A&S '12), M.D. Tran (McIntire '12), and Lu Xu (Architecture '14). Featured exhibits in this art gallery will be on a rotating basis and are contingent upon the McIntire Art Committee's approval.

The art committee unveiled its first juried photograph exhibit, which features photograph by McIntire faculty, staff, and students, in August 2010. Follow the Photography Exhibit link in the navigation bar to the left for more details. The 2011 exhibit is on display in the 200-level of Rouss & Robertson Halls.
