Chris P. Kallos

Chris Kallos is a Senior Partner in the Private Funds Group at the international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where since 1994 he has focused on investment fund formations, private company mergers and acquisitions, and related matters. Mr. Kallos has represented or is currently representing leading sponsors across the United States in forming over $40 billion in private equity funds, ranging in size from $40 million to more than $6 billion. He also represents significant limited partner investors in connection with their fund investments and co-investments.

After his graduation from McIntire, Mr. Kallos worked at PriceWaterhouse as a CPA and then attended Harvard Law School. In addition to serving on the McIntire School Advisory Board, Mr. Kallos has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Northwestern University Law School, teaching “Structuring Transactions: Private Equity Funds & Transactions,” and is a frequent speaker on private fund formations and related topics.
