Craig S. Wagner

Craig Wagner is the Partner in charge of the real estate and hospitality practice in KPMG’s Washington, D.C. and McLean, Va., offices. He joined KPMG in 1973 and has spent most of his career assisting real estate clients in raising capital through private placement memorandums or initial and subsequent public stock offerings.

Mr. Wagner is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), the National Association of Real Estate Companies (NAREC), the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, and other real estate industry groups and professional societies.

Mr. Wagner received his B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce in 1973. While at U.Va., he was a member of the baseball team and Sigma Pi fraternity.

Mr. Wagner is a certified public accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He was a founding member of the Board of Advisors of the James Madison University School of Accounting and is a past president of the Lake Braddock High School Athletic Booster Club (Burke, Va.) and the Country Club of Fairfax in Fairfax, Va.

He resides in Fairfax Station, Va., with his wife, Barbie, and children, Lindsey (senior at The College of William & Mary) and Matt (freshman at the University of Tennessee). Mr. Wagner is an avid, single-digit handicap golfer and still plays basketball in a 50-year-and-over league.
