Curtis W. Schade

Class of '80

Curt Schade is COO and Co-Owner of Pinebank Asset Management, a long-short credit hedge fund. Before joining Pinebank, he was the Director of Credit Research for Satellite Asset Management, a $6 billion AUM multi-strategy hedge fund. Before joining Satellite, Mr. Schade was a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and a Senior Managing Director responsible for high-yield and distressed sales and trading at Bear Stearns & Company. Mr. Schade has also been an active investor in distressed and value-added retail, office, and industrial commercial real estate. He holds a B.S. in Commerce (finance concentration) from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (1980) and currently serves on the McIntire School Advisory Board. Mr. Schade also serves as a member of the Board of the Thomas Moran Trust.

Mr. Schade is married, with four children, aged 14-19, and resides in Glen Ridge, N.J.
