E. Stockton Croft

Stockton Croft is a Director with Arcapita Inc. and head of its U.S. Corporate Investment group. Arcapita is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arcapita Bank B.S.C., a merchant bank based in Bahrain with $5.4 billion of equity invested in 59 companies in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Mr. Croft has led investments at Arcapita totaling over $1 billion of value and currently serves as Chairman of Church’s Chicken and The Tensar Corporation and on the board of directors of Bijoux Terner, 3P Logistics, Ampad LLC, and Yakima Inc., and previously on Loehmann’s Inc. prior to its sale.

Prior to joining Arcapita, Mr. Croft co-founded Argonne Capital Group, an investment partnership that acquired the largest franchisee of IHOP Corporation. Prior to Argonne Capital, he co-founded and served as President and CFO of BSC Enterprises, a manufacturer of medical and paper-based products.

Mr. Croft is active in civic duties, serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Buckhead YMCA, the Board of Councilors at The Carter Center, and as Treasurer of All Saints Episcopal Church.

Mr. Croft holds a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, where he was named a Palmer Scholar.
