Edgar L. Parrish is Managing Principal of Parrish & Co. Private Wealth Management LLC, in Chevy Chase, Md. (www.parrishpwm.com). He has been a member of the Advisory Board since 2002.
Parrish & Co. is a fee-only SEC-registered investment adviser firm. Its practice focus is asset management and planning for family wealth managers, their trusts and retirement plans, and nonprofit organizations. Before transitioning to the independent RIA model in 2009, Mr. Parrish held investment consulting positions with four Wall Street firms for 38 years.
Mr. Parrish is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Certified Investment Management Analyst®, and he has served as an arbitrator for the New York Stock Exchange.
Mr. Parrish is married to Katherine MacLachlan Parrish (Katy), who is also his business partner. They live in Bethesda, Md. Their son, Robert, is a student in the M.S.in Commerce Program at McIntire, and their second son, Stephen, is a sophomore at Bucknell University.
