Gregg I. Goldenberg

Gregg Goldenberg is President and CEO of Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods; Managing Partner of Anthem Capital Partners; and President of K2 Ventures LLC.
Mr. Goldenberg has been in the homebuilding and development businesses since 1991, when he left the management consulting firm of Bain & Company to join The Ryland Group. During his ten years of service to Morrison Homes (the U.S. operation of Britain’s largest homebuilder, George Wimpey PLC [now Taylor-Wimpey]) from 1994 to 2004, Mr. Goldenberg served in several leadership roles. As Division President of the Atlanta MSA for Morrison Homes, Mr. Goldenberg increased sales from 200 homes in 1998 to 464 homes in 2001 and increased the gross profit percentage by 39 percent and gross profit dollars by 536 percent over that same time period, among other accomplishments. For these accomplishments, Mr. Goldenberg and his management team were presented the Outstanding Division Award, an award of distinction by Morrison Homes corporate.
From his position as Division President, Mr. Goldenberg went on to head a corporate-wide ERP software implementation for the company. He and his team developed and implemented a new system that incorporated the operational disciplines of finance, construction, vendor communication, prospect management, sales order entry, purchasing, reporting, and post-closing services for 10 homebuilding divisions that included 4,500 homes.
Mr. Goldenberg further was recognized within Morrison Homes by taking on the role of Senior Vice President of the Southeast Region. In this position, Mr. Goldenberg was responsible for all land acquisitions, homebuilding, and mortgage finance operations in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and Sarasota. The Southeast region, at the time, comprised over 2,100 closings and $570 million in revenue.
Mr. Goldenberg started K2 Ventures LLC in 2005. K2 identified, entitled, purchased, and developed residential communities for regional builders as well as housing giants Beazer Homes and the Ryland Group. In 2007, K2 formed a strategic development partnership with Jim Chapman Communities to purchase and develop active adult communities in the Southeast.
Mr. Goldenberg started Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods in the spring of 2010. Acadia currently builds in nine communities in metro Atlanta. He is also Managing Partner of Anthem Capital Partners, an opportunistic distressed residential investment company that manages over $18 million of assets in the Southeast.
Mr. Goldenberg is a graduate of the McIntire School and holds an M.B.A., with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an active member of the Leadership Gifts Committee at the Lovett School and active in the Georgia chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
