H. Tracey Brownfield

Class of '79

Tracey Brownfield is a real estate professional with more than 20 years' experience in site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, and development; real estate finance; and corporate real estate. She is the owner of TB Development, a real estate development firm located in Sausalito, Calif., and is one of a few women nationwide to develop large-scale industrial projects with institutional backing. She specializes in infill projects in the Bay Area with an emphasis on industrial sites.

Ms. Brownfield graduated from McIntire in 1979 with a finance concentration and received her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Before forming her own company, she was employed by Copley Real Estate Advisors and as a Development Partner with Lee Sammis Associates. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Northern California chapters of the University of Virginia and Harvard Business School clubs.
