Jeffrey A. Raich
Class of '89

Jeff Raich is a Managing Director and Founding Partner of Moelis & Company. Mr. Raich has been in the investment banking industry for 21 years and has advised on over 150 M&A transactions across a broad spectrum of industries. His clients have included public and private companies, private equity firms, and hedge funds. Most recently, Mr. Raich was the Joint Global Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at UBS Investment Bank. He joined UBS in 2001 and founded UBS' Exclusive Sales and Divestitures Group in 2002. Mr. Raich was a member of the UBS Investment Bank Board, the UBS Global Management Committee, and the Investment Banking Department Americas Executive Committee and was Co-Head of Investment Banking Los Angeles. He also served as the Chairman of UBS' Business Review Group in the Americas. Before joining UBS, Mr. Raich was a Managing Director and Head of West Coast Mergers and Acquisitions at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He began his career as an investment banker with PaineWebber.
Mr. Raich is a member of the McIntire School of Commerce Advisory Board at the University of Virginia. He received a B.S. with Distinction in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (Beta Gamma Sigma).
