Kevin J. Dell

Class of '78

Kevin Dell is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Adaptivity Inc., a Charlotte N.C.-based private company that provides IT blueprinting software. Mr. Dell, a 1978 graduate of the McIntire School as well as past president of the Commerce Council, was awarded a J.D. and M.B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 and has been practicing law and advising corporations ever since. He served as General Counsel of DataSynapse Inc., a private venture capital-financed grid computing platform sold to TIBCO Software Inc. in 2009. Before that, he served as General Counsel of The BISYS Group Inc., a public company outsourcing services provider to financial institutions, and Concurrent Computer Corporation, a public company manufacturer and distributor of specialty real-time computing systems. Mr. Dell lives with his wife, Beth, who is a trusts and estates attorney, and their three children in Fair Haven, N.J. He has one child attending Brown University and two potential Wahoos in high school!
