Schuyler M. Tilney

Class of '78

Schuyler Tilney has served as Select Energy Services’ Executive Vice President of Corporate Development since Jan. 1, 2012. Before joining Select's management team, Mr. Tilney was a consultant to the company, primarily with respect to acquisitions and corporate development matters. He was also one of the early principal investors in the company, acquiring his original equity position in June 2007 at the time of Select’s first major acquisition (North Texas Water Resources). Before that, Mr. Tilney served as Chief Executive Officer of Cimmarron Gathering LP, a private midstream company that focused on natural gas and crude oil gathering, from September 2005 until its sale to Copano Energy LLC in April 2007. Before his role at Cimmarron Gathering LP, Mr. Tilney was a Managing Director and Global Head of the Investment Banking Energy and Power Group at Merrill Lynch & Co., which he joined in 1993. Previously, he worked at the First Boston Corporation in the Energy Group for 10 years after his graduation from business school.
