Tia Brunelli Mahaffy

Tia Mahaffy is Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in New York City. As an institutional salesperson on the High Yield Sales Desk, she covers a broad range of accounts, including mutual funds, insurance companies, and hedge funds. Ms. Mahaffy joined CSFB in October of 2000 when it purchased Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), her employer since July 1999. Before DLJ, she worked with Goldman Sachs, establishing a global wholesale electricity trading and marketing desk at Constellation Power Source. From 1995 until the summer of 1998, Tia worked as an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch in New York City working primarily with financial sponsor groups and consumer product companies. Tia received her Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia in 1995 with a double major in finance and marketing. She is actively involved in and volunteers her time to Student Sponsor Partnership, The New York City Ballet, Free Arts for Abused Children and Free Space NYC.
