Walter B. Doggett III

Walter B. Doggett III currently serves as Vice President of Taxes for E*TRADE Financial Corporation, headquartered in Arlington, Va. He is responsible for overseeing all of the bank’s tax compliance, tax accounting, tax research, and tax planning activities. His prior professional affiliations have included Wilmington Trust, Chevy Chase Bank, Riggs Bank, MCI, and KPMG.

Mr. Doggett received his B.S. in Commerce, with a concentration in finance, from the McIntire School in 1987. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Maryland. He also received two advanced degrees (M.S. Tax, Executive Master's in Leadership) from Georgetown University and two advanced degrees (M.S. Finance, M.B.A.) from Loyola University Maryland. Mr. Doggett is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He currently serves as an Adjunct Accounting Professor at Loyola University Maryland.

Mr. Doggett currently serves as President of the Baltimore/Washington Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute, and also serves on the Advisory Board of the Bank Tax Institute. He previously served on the Taxation Committee of the American Bankers Association and the Tax Legislation Committee for the AICPA. Mr. Doggett currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Center Stage Theater in Baltimore and the Cathedral Choral Society in Washington.

Mr. Doggett and his wife, Joanne, reside in Baltimore.
