A Global Economy Demands a Global Education
McIntire strongly encourages students to plan an international study experience. Many study-abroad options are available to Commerce students. Third-year Comm students may study abroad their spring semester and still complete the Integrated Core Curriculum (ICE) requirements, thanks to a partnership between McIntire and a number of international institutions. McIntire offers faculty-led short-term courses that include several weeks of travel abroad during January term and May term. In addition, Commerce students can participate in independent international programs during summer months.
The Third-Year Core Semester-Abroad Program ensures that students at any of the program's partner institutions stay abreast with their on-Grounds classmates in the Integrated Core Experience (ICE) program.
