Configure McIntire E-mail Using IMAP
Because of differences in the means by which various e-mail clients prompt the user for IMAP settings and information, the necessary information will be presented here without reference to particular programs. You should not need any further information, but you may need to interpret the prompts in your particular e-mail program to understand which piece of information is to be used to answer the prompts.
E-mail server: webmail.comm.virginia.edu
Outgoing Mail Server: Dependent on your internet service provider. Use Google to search for your particular ISP's outgoing mail (SMTP) server.
Port: 993
Secure Connection: SSL
User name: Your McIntire user ID (abc4d, for example)
Password: Your McIntire account password
