Using the McIntire Virtual Private Network
Members of the McIntire School have access to a wide variety of technology resources that make learning and working together easier and more efficient. For security reasons, however, most of these resources are available only from within Rouss & Robertson Halls. The McIntire virtual private network creates a secure connection to the School's servers from anywhere with an Internet connection, allowing more flexibility for our increasingly mobile students and staff and safe access to secure documents and resources.
The McIntire VPN is required when outside of Rouss & Robertson Halls for services such as McIntire's Microsoft Exchange server and McIntire's network storage areas (e.g., F, G, R, and S drives).
