 Course Materials Systems

Technologies for Distribution of Course Content

At the University of Virginia, a different systems have been used to help students and faculty work together through technology. In the past, Toolkit was the course content technology of choice among most McIntire faculty. Now, Toolkit has been phased out to make way for UVa Collab. Although this new system is useful in many ways, most McIntire faculty make use of the McIntire-specific Blackboard system.

To use Blackboard, simply visit http://blackboard.comm.virginia.edu and log in using your Mcintire user ID and password. Your home page will list the courses you are currently taking and provide you with links to content that your professors may have uploaded onto the site. For more information regarding the use of UVa Collab, visit http://www.itc.virginia.edu.
