The following estimated budgets are provided to help you plan for the cost of attending the program and are based on University-approved allowances for living expenses incurred during the academic year.

Tuition and fees for the M.S. in Accounting Program for the 2012-2013 academic year are set at $28,500 for Virginia residents and $34,500 for non-Virginia residents.

*International students: The Financial Guarantee Form requires that you allow $6,000 for a spouse or partner and $3,000 for each dependent. The above budget does not include travel to and from the United States.

**The University of Virginia's budget for living expenses is set by the Board of Visitors. Rent and utility figures are calculated for a single student sharing a two-bedroom apartment. This budget does not include allowances for car payments, undergraduate debt, or consumer and other types of personal debt. The budget for typical living costs is expected to increase by approximately 3% for 2013-2014.
