The McIntire Experience
Life as a McIntire graduate student is defined by people—classmates, faculty, staff, and friends—who will play an important role throughout graduate school, serve as the foundation for your professional network, and celebrate with you each achievement throughout the year.
Students participate in extensive group work and interact with professors in a supportive, collaborative setting. Other opportunities to build relationships and make the most of student life at the University and the McIntire School include participating in UVA intramural sports or cultural clubs, attending social events hosted by the Graduate Council, or just hanging out on the Corner with friends.

Rouss & Robertson Halls
Founded as part of the University of Virginia in 1921, the McIntire School of Commerce has achieved an outstanding reputation for its innovative curriculum. Students are expected to work hard, work fast, and work together.
McIntire moved into its new home, Rouss & Robertson Halls (RRH), in 2008, a state-of-the-art learning complex on the University of Virginia’s historic Lawn. The architecture of RRH reflects the University's longstanding tradition of fostering faculty-student interaction, with a central courtyard, terrace, environmentally green rooftop garden, and numerous public spaces. Facilities include classrooms equipped with the latest technology, a mock trading room, 15 group study rooms, and a private commons area just for graduate students. Take a virtual tour.
We encourage you to explore the opportunities and offerings available to graduate students at the University of Virginia, at the McIntire School of Commerce, and in the Charlottesville community.
