Marketing The marketing program provides students with the necessary concepts and background to understand the role of marketing in business and society, drawing from and expanding on the quantitative and social sciences. The diverse conceptual, theoretical, and empirical underpinnings of marketing give students a working understanding of how marketing interrelates with nearly all organizational functions and influences virtually all plans and decisions.
