You will be contacted to schedule the day and time
for your visit.
-
Students will schedule 45-minute or 1-hour sessions with
recruiters to gain firsthand experience in interviewing.
-
A private room will be provided for this service.
-
You are encouraged to provide students with a
typical interview format used while interviewing students on Grounds.
Students recognize this as an educational experience and welcome any
constructive advice on how to improve their interviewing skills.
-
We invite the use of the behavioral interview;
however, many of our students also like experience with the case
interview.
-
You may provide information about your company and
the positions you are seeking to fill. However, we would like to limit
this to five minutes unless the student solicits more information.
-
Students are asked to do preliminary research
on your company before the session. They are also encouraged to read a
handout titled Interviewing
for Employment.
-
You are encouraged to send any information on your
company as well as position descriptions. This information will be
made available to students and, if permitted, will also be publicized
in University promotional calendars and materials.
-
Directions
to the McIntire School and designated parking will be sent to you,
along with a confirmation letter and the resumes of those students you
will be mock interviewing one week before your scheduled day.
