Commerce Career Services has a solid reputation of partnering with students to provide exposure to internships and employment opportunities with the most prominent employers nationwide. Many of our students are offered summer internships between their third and fourth years at McIntire. This experience, along with a McIntire degree, provides our graduates with solid, high-level employment opportunities at many Fortune 500 companies.

Our staff provides targeted programming and advising to McIntire students. We work closely with the University Career Services Office to ensure viable recruiting opportunities—both full-time positions and summer internships. During the 2006-2007 academic year, McIntire students participated in 3,028 (39%) of the 7,683 total interviews on Grounds. Employers want our students.
