M.S. in Commerce Students

Students enrolled in McIntire's one-year M.S. in Commerce Program are encouraged to start exploring career options soon after entering the program. Although many students choose to pursue careers in business, others prefer to seek opportunities in less "traditional" fields. Graduates of the Class of 2009 accepted positions at large corporate organizations and banks, as well as at smaller specialty organizations and nonprofit and government groups.

The M.S. in Commerce degree was the perfect addition to my liberal arts education. I was able to apply the problem-solving skills I learned in my economics, mathematics, and leadership courses to business problems at McIntire. The case method and the faculty that teaches it are McIntire's competitive advantage. Furthermore, CCS worked with the M.S. in Commerce Program from day one, and the CCS staff made sure that potential employers were informed about the program and its students. Their involvement made the job search easy to handle given the demands of the one-year graduate program.
