 Career Placement / Job Search

Introduction

Career Cycle

Career development is a lifelong process during which an individual makes career decisions based on changing interests, skills, and values. We encourage you to review the following sections to:

  • Learn about self-exploration
  • Research various career paths
  • Ensure that you are a well-prepared candidate for job positions that interest you

We also encourage you to meet with a counselor to discuss career-related goals.

"McIntire students are guided through the intimidating process of finding a job by supportive faculty, alumni, and older students. However, the lynchpin that brings it all together is Commerce Career Services, an integral part of the McIntire experience. The staff gets to know students on an individual basis, so they can find them not only a job but an employer who will allow them to succeed and grow. Without the tireless efforts of CCS, many McIntire students would fall short of finding the perfect next step." Will Cozean (McIntire '11)
