Alan
Rimm-Kaufman, PhD, is the founder and president of the Rimm-Kaufman
Group,
a services and consulting firm providing direct marketing strategy,
technology, and advanced analytics to leading online retailers and
catalogers.
Prior
to founding the firm, Rimm-Kaufman was the vice president of marketing for
Crutchfield Corporation, the nation’s leading direct merchant of
consumer electronics.
Rimm-Kaufman
is a frequent speaker at industry events, including DMA annual, catalog,
Net.Marketing, and NCDM shows. He has been an invited speaker at NRF’s
Shop.org, NEMOA, and DMD
NY conference.
Rimm-Kaufman
holds a doctorate in operations research with a focus on applied
statistics from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and a BS degree with
high honors in applied mathematics from Yale
University.
