Pat House

Pat House is the Co-founder and Vice Chairman of Siebel Systems, the world’s leading provider of eBusiness application software. Pat co-founded Siebel Systems with Thomas M. Siebel in July 1993. With Ms. House’s assistance, Siebel Systems has been recognized by Fortune Magazine as the fastest growing company in America and by BusinessWeek in its “INFO TECH 100 Annual Report” as the world’s highest performing software company.

With more than 7,000 full-time employees, Siebel Systems is a global corporation providing comprehensive eBusiness solutions to many of the world’s leading corporations including: IBM, Deutsche Telecom, Lucent, Chase Manhattan Bank, The Charles Schwab Corporation, Yahoo!, Microsoft and Kellogg’s.

Ms. House started her high technology career in 1982 when she moved to northern California to join Verbatim Corporation, a leading manufacturer of floppy diskettes and other storage devices. While at Verbatim, Pat held a number of product marketing and brand marketing positions. In 1987, Ms. House joined Oracle Corporation where she held a variety of senior marketing positions. Following Oracle, she moved to Frame Technology Corporation, a document authoring software company where she became executive vice president of the company and assisted in taking the company public.

Ms. House, a frequent industry spokesperson, is the co-author of Cyber Rules, published by Doubleday. Now a global best-seller, Cyber Rules has surpassed more than 300,000 copies sold and is in print in English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. Pat is a graduate of Western Michigan University from which she holds a B.A. in Education.

Active in Education, Ms. House is a member of the Corporate Council of Interlochen, an educational institution in Traverse City, Michigan. Targeted at talented and highly motivated young people from around the world, Interlochen emphasizes excellence in artistic and academic achievement and arts presentation. A guest professor at Stanford University, Pat frequently lectures in the MBA program and teaches courses in Entrepreneurism.
