Aligning
IT and Business Strategy Through Effective IT Governance
Date:
Tuesday, April 27th, 2004,
3 -5 p.m.
Location:
Virginia Housing Development
Authority, Richmond, VA.
Synopsis:
Most companies are disappointed
in the returns generated by their IT investments. The problems
stem mostly from poor governance, specifically, putting decision
making responsibility for IT in the hands of the wrong people.
In this session we will review research on how 256 enterprises
govern IT--and how their different governance approaches lead to
different results. In addition, Dr. Ross will present a
framework for designing IT governance consistent with business
strategy.
