Recognized expert, Paul Pacter, who works with the IASB in London and is also a consultant working with the Chinese government to establish accounting standards, discussed international accounting standards, dynamics, and trends, given the significant changes in the industry and their implications for global financial reporting. An informal social gathering followed the seminar for participants interested in further discussion.

Hosted Oct. 4, 2004, in Monroe 130 and the courtyard, this program reached over 90 interested graduate and undergraduate accounting students, members of Beta Alpha Psi, select other McIntire students and faculty, as well as outside faculty and accounting professionals.
