The Galant Center for Entrepreneurship

Founded in 2008 through initial funding from Mark E. Galant (McIntire ’80), The Galant Center for Entrepreneurship is dedicated to advancing the study and practice of entrepreneurship. Through the Galant Center, McIntire will develop innovative curricula, engage in significant research, and execute meaningful events. Experiential learning is an important element of the Galant Center. Through Center-sponsored activities, students will be exposed to new venture leaders who will share both their successes and obstacles in entrepreneurial ventures. The Galant Center will collaborate with the UVA Entrepreneurial Society to engage speakers and to promote relevant activities and aims to involve McIntire alumni in its activities as guest speakers, competition judges, and event attendees.
