Though often characterized as “vulture investors” or “bottom feeders,” distressed debt investors work on the frontlines to hunt out, bet on, and improve the performance of financially distressed assets. They are the investors who specialize in fixing broken companies and turning around underperforming properties. This conference will bring together top-flight distressed debt investors and experts to discuss the challenges faced amid the current turmoil in the economy. Our speaker and panelists will emphasize the qualities required for successful distressed debt investing, including how distressed investors differentiate themselves and how they differ from other types of investors. They will also discuss current developments in the corporate and real estate sectors, debate the outlook for distressed assets, and highlight opportunities and pitfalls in distressed debt markets. Join us for what promises to be a fascinating look into the world of distressed debt.
