Headquartered in Dallas, RPS has primary offices in Barcelona, Detroit, Frankfurt, London, Melbourne, Mexico City, Moscow, New Delhi, Shanghai, and Singapore. As Director of Performance Consulting, Cox works with organizations to help them uncover their true worth through application of organizational network analysis, enhanced decision-making techniques, financial analysis, and Raytheon Six Sigma™. Prior to his current responsibilities, Cox was a founding member of the Raytheon Six Sigma Institute, where he was the chief architect of the Raytheon Six Sigma curriculum for experts and specialists. He was also lead instructor for the initial rollout of the curriculum within Raytheon. Cox also served as the Raytheon Six Sigma master expert assigned to Raytheon’s Information Technology organization, where he deployed Raytheon Six Sigma and facilitated knowledge sharing and reuse of best practices throughout the organization. Since joining Raytheon in 1988, Cox has held several positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, quality assurance, procurement assurance, and information technology. Cox is a frequent conference speaker on leadership, social capital, leadership and Six Sigma, and he has been cited for his views on social capital and networking in BusinessWeek, Industry Week, The Times (UK), and Training & Development. Cox earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s degree in manufacturing systems management from Southern Methodist University.

Ted Graham is a Practice Associate with McKinsey & Company, one of the world’s premier management consulting firms. Prior to joining McKinsey, Graham served as Worldwide Director of Knowledge Management Services at Hill & Knowlton. Among his many accomplishments during his tenure there, Graham developed “HK.NET,” an award-winning global knowledge management system that serves 2,000 employees and has resulted in increased employee productivity and positive industry attention for Hill & Knowlton’s knowledge management strategy. He also created the popular “Client.net,” an effective extranet solution for Hill & Knowlton’s global client base.

A firm believer in the value of network analysis, Graham spearheaded Hill & Knowlton’s membership in the Network Roundtable. In addition, he created a premium research product called “Influencer Network Analysis,” or INA, to map the relationships between the individuals, media, and organizations that are shaping opinions across various industries and realms of public life. INA was nominated for an “innovation of the year” award by PR Week.

Graham’s current research focus is on knowledge management and social network analysis. He also consults with top management on a variety of strategic and organizational issues. Graham, who has a B.A. from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. from Queen’s University, is also a former magazine publisher and journalist. He has attended the last three summer Olympics as an accredited photographer.

John Helferich is an Executive-in-Residence at the College of Business Administration at Northeastern University and a Batten Fellow at the Darden School of the University of Virginia. Helferich’s work focuses on executive education, consulting on new ventures for established companies, and researching new applications of social networks to business.

Helferich graduated from MIT in 1979 with a degree in chemical engineering. After stints with Procter & Gamble and Ocean Spray Cranberries, Helferich joined the R&D Division of the U.S. unit of Mars, Incorporated in 1986.  After a series of assignments with increasing responsibility, Helferich was appointed in 1995 to the position of Vice President of R&D for Masterfoods USA, the U.S. division of Mars, Incorporated. Since 1995, Mars has made great strides in globalizing its technology development, improving its product development process, protecting its intellectual property, and developing a global technology strategy. These improvements have resulted in significantly improved product innovation and led Mars to industry-leading initiatives such as improving the sustainability of the global cocoa crop and demonstrating the exciting health benefits of cocoa and chocolate. Helferich was appointed to the position of Vice President of University Research in mid 2005. He was responsible for creating and managing links between leading management thinkers and strategic problems at Masterfoods.

Helferich is a member of IFT and AIChE.
