Doğan Eroğlu
Associate Director for Communication Science
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Doğan Eroğlu is the Associate Director for Communication Science at the Office of the Associate Director for Communication, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Prior to his current position, he was the Associate Director for Marketing Sciences at the National Center for Health Marketing (NCHM) at CDC and the Executive Secretary for the Board of Scientific Counselors for NCHM. Earlier, Eroğlu was a Senior Behavioral Scientist at the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention at CDC. His research focused on HIV/AIDS prevention issues, including prevention communications and intervention development for HIV-infected persons. In addition, he provided consultation for the planning and evaluation of projects concerning the delivery of HIV prevention services and HIV-related communication campaigns. Prior to joining CDC, Eroğlu was a member of the marketing faculty at Georgia State University, where he was involved in graduate and undergraduate teaching and research. His work is published in various marketing and public health journals and refereed conference proceedings. He received his Ph.D. in marketing from Michigan State University (1991).

Dorrie Fontaine
Sadie Heath Cabaniss Professor of Nursing
and Dean of the School of Nursing
University of Virginia

A passion for creating healthful work environments in hospital and academic settings underlies the career of Dorrie Fontaine, R.N., Ph.D., FAAN. Since coming to the University of Virginia School of Nursing as Sadie Heath Cabaniss Professor of Nursing and Dean, Fontaine has implemented Appreciative Inquiry methodology as the basis for the school’s strategic planning and launched an interdisciplinary process to create a transformational model to provide compassionate end-of-life care across the health care spectrum. In addition, she has been a strong advocate for interprofessional education, engaging both medical and nursing faculty and students. The Macy Foundation awarded the Schools of Medicine and Nursing $746,000 in 2011-2013 to focus on educating third-year nursing and medical students together. Prior to her 2008 appointment, Fontaine was Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. Before coming to UCSF, she held Associate Dean positions and taught at Georgetown University School of Nursing. Her priorities as Dean include promoting healthy work environments, building interprofessional collaborations, and increasing diversity in both the faculty and student populations. Fontaine received her B.S. in nursing from Villanova University, a master’s degree from the University of Maryland, and her Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. 

Dianne Morse Houghton
Chief Operating Officer
New Leaders for New Schools

Dianne Morse Houghton leads New Leaders for New Schools' City Team programs and operations in the organization's 12 locations across the country. As COO, she also leads New Leaders' organizational planning work and continues to oversee the Effective Practices Incentive Community (EPIC), a $70 million program created to reward effective educators driving achievement gains in high-need urban schools and then document and share their practices so that others might learn from their success. Prior to New Leaders, Morse Houghton filled executive roles within services-oriented enterprises, most recently as the turnaround CEO of Digital Focus Inc., where she led triple- and double-digit percentage growth in revenue, profitability, and size after four years of losses. As President and Chief Operating Officer at Jaffe Associates, she oversaw the doubling of the company’s size and revenues, making it one of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the nation under her leadership. Prior to these roles, Morse Houghton was a management consultant, working with many Fortune 100 and government organizations to create and launch strategic initiatives. Her passion for education equity is rooted in her community service experience, serving multiple terms as the chair of the Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee for Fairfax County Public Schools, and as a member of the Superintendent's Business Advisory Council. As well, she is a frequent lecturer on leadership topics, and designed and taught foundational curriculum for master's level strategy and leadership courses at the University of Maryland's Erickson School. Morse Houghton has a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, has an M.B.A. from The College of William & Mary, and is co-author of the book Vision, Values, and Courage: Leadership for Quality Management.

Punam Anand Keller
Charles Henry Jones Third Century Professor of Management
Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College

Punam Anand Keller is the Charles Henry Jones Third Century Professor of Management in the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and Adjunct Professor at the Dartmouth Community Medical Center. She has a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. from Bombay University, India, and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. She designs theoretical and empirical models of communications. Her research appears in marketing, health, and psychology journals. She is co-author of Leveraging Consumer Psychology for Effective Health Communications: The Obesity Challenge. Her research is supported by various organizations, including the National Cancer Institute, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Social Security Administration, the National Endowment for Financial Education, and the New York Stock Exchange Foundation. She has served as an associate editor of Journal of Consumer Research and currently is on the editorial boards of Journal of Public Policy and Marketing; Journal of Consumer Psychology; and Journal of Marketing Research. At Tuck, she teaches a Social Marketing elective in the M.B.A. program and Marketing Strategy in the Master's in the Science of Health Care Delivery program. Keller was president of the Association for Consumer Research in 2008 and co-chair of CDC’s National Center for Health Marketing Conference in 2010.

Jerry Ng
President and Chief Executive Officer
Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN)

Jerry Ng (46) serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of BTPN (Indonesia), majority-owned by TPG Capital (USA). Ng has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career with the multinational Citibank and then worked with several leading private Indonesian commercial banks (Bank Central Asia and Bank Danamon) as Deputy President Director before he joined TPG Capital as the Head of Indonesia and Senior Advisor for South East Asia. He also spent 10 years as a senior executive in the financial services division of Indonesia's Astra group. During the Asian financial crisis, he was tapped to serve the government as Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency. Ng graduated from the University of Washington (Seattle) and attended various executive development programs at the Stanford Business School and the Harvard Business School. He is a fellow of the Eisenhower Fellowships.

Andy Schoonover

Valued Relationships, Inc.

Andy Schoonover is CEO of Valued Relationships Inc. (VRI), a leading provider of home-based patient monitoring solutions, including vital signs monitoring, medication adherence, and personal emergency response systems. Before joining VRI, Schoonover co-founded and was Managing Partner at Blue Canyon Capital, a private investment firm formed to make a long-term investment in profitable small- and middle-market companies. Before co-founding Blue Canyon, Schoonover worked for Host Marriott Corporation (now Host Hotels & Resorts, NYSE: HST). At Host, Schoonover worked with the Treasury, Asset Management, and Acquisition and Development groups and completed transactions valued at approximately $1.5 billion. Schoonover sits on the Advisory Board of the McIntire School at the University of Virginia, from which he received a B.S. in Commerce. He also received his M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Josh Wright
Acting Director of the Office of Financial Education and Financial Access
U.S. Department of the Treasury

Josh Wright serves as Acting Director for the Office of Financial Education and Financial Access at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Wright leads the Treasury Department’s development and implementation of policies and initiatives intended to increase the financial capability, education, and access of Americans, which includes a special focus on low-, moderate-, and middle-income Americans who are not fully in the nation’s financial mainstream. Immediately before becoming the Acting Director, Wright was the Director, Financial Access Innovations at the Treasury. Wright has extensive experience in the nonprofit and for-profit sector in media and entertainment, financial services, new business development, and business strategy, previously holding positions at the Center for Community Change, Bertelsmann’s Random House Inc., and Booz Allen Hamilton’s Commercial Consulting Business. He holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.
