Mr. Bills teaches various finance courses, with an emphasis on investing. He has specific interest in corporate governance and the role of ethics in competitive work environments.
Professional Activities:
Mr. Bills is the Founder and President of Bluestem Asset Management LLC. Formerly, he was Chief Investment Officer of UVIMCO and has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Tiger Management (1986-1991, 1995-1999). Mr. Bills previously taught at the Darden School and the McIntire School of Commerce (1992-1995). He was Vice President of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Equity Trading and Arbitrage Division from 1981 to 1986. Mr. Bills is Chairman of the Virginia Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
