Areas of Expertise:

Professor Foutz is interested in media and advertising, design of new products and product lines, and strategic management of
short life cycle entertainment and high-tech products. She uses conjoint, dynamic choice, and equilibrium models; dynamic programming; and Bayesian statistical methods in her empirical analyses.

Professional Activities:

Professor Foutz’s research is published in Journal of Marketing Research; MSI Reports; and various refereed conference proceedings. She is also a referee for a number of conferences and journals such as Marketing Science; Management Science; and Journal of Marketing. She has presented her research at numerous conferences and chaired sessions at INFORMS and Marketing Science conferences. Professor Foutz has taught marketing management, choice models, and entertainment marketing at the undergraduate, M.B.A., and Ph.D. levels. She is also the recipient of several teaching awards.
