Professor Lathan specializes in auditing and assurance services. His interests include fraudulent financial reporting and professional practice management.

Professional Activities:

Professor Lathan is a member of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
