Areas of Expertise:

Extensive experience as an expert witness in civil and criminal cases, in litigation support, in quality assurance reviews of CPA firms, and consulting on a variety of accounting and management issues. Areas of expertise include financial accounting and reporting, international finance, and attestation (auditing, etc.).

Professional Activities:

Professor Scott is the co-author of two books and numerous articles appearing in journals such as Accounting Review; Journal of Accountancy; and Best's Review.

He has served on the Fulbright Scholar Selection Committee and the editorial advisory boards of two professional journals and is a member of the board of directors of the Federation of Schools of Accounting. At the School of Commerce, he has served as director of Graduate Studies and area coordinator.
