McIntire and Darden to Host Career Transition Workshop for Alums

Aug. 8, 2002—McIntire and Darden will again co-host their highly successful “Career Transitions” workshop Nov. 14-16, 2002. This intensive 2.5-day workshop, open to McIntire and Darden alumni with a minimum of 6 years of work experience, is designed to assist in defining and finding what's next for them. If you are McIntire or Darden alumnus attempting to discover your next career or are already in a career transition, this workshop can help provide the answer. Topics covered include:

• Identifying and refining your life themes

• Translating your life themes into career objectives

• Generating marketing materials to find the right job for you

• Analyzing the current job market

• Generating job leads

• Strategically accessing the market

• Networking efficiently and effectively
