Carl Zeithaml was reappointed to a second five-year term as Dean of the McIntire School during the Board of Visitors’ spring 2002 meeting.

“This renewal reflects the confidence that the Board of Visitors, University President John Casteen, and I have in Carl’s ability to lead the School in these challenging times,” says Gene Block, University Vice President and Provost.

“My reappointment is really a tribute to the remarkable achievements of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and corporate partners over the past five years,” Zeithaml says. “Their hard work and great success on behalf of the McIntire School allowed me to keep this terrific job! I also appreciate the support of the University and the Board of Visitors, and I look forward to another exciting five years, particularly the realization of the new building complex on the Lawn.”
