Registration & Advising

Advising

Each third-year student is assigned to a faculty adviser, who serves as a resource for career information and counseling, as well as for exploring educational options. You are required to meet with faculty during pre-registration, but you are encouraged to take the initiative to set up meetings as you deem necessary.

VISTAA (Formerly PACE Form)

VISTAA (Virginia Student Academic Audit) is a personalized online report that defines each undergraduate academic program offered at the University of Virginia. It evaluates each currently enrolled student's coursework to determine if the courses on the student's record meet the requirements of the declared academic program (major/minor/concentration).

Students are required to print their VISTAA report each semester and bring this with them when meeting with advisers.

Course Enrollment

Detailed instructions for how to enroll, as well as add/drop dates, can also be found at the Registrar's site.
