Advising

At the University of Virginia, teaching faculty serve as faculty advisers to undergraduate and graduate students. All McIntire faculty members are involved in advising students through formal and informal interactions, and they take an active role in supporting students. Faculty members serve as a resource for career information and counseling, as well as for exploring educational options such as course selections and degree programs. The Office of Student Services is also an excellent place to find answers to questions regarding course enrollment, degree requirements, or other concerns. Finally, McIntire’s Career Services Office provides excellent advice for student regarding career planning and the job search process.
