Position Information
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement successful sourcing strategies focused on STEM positions to recruit external candidates from national colleges and universities for internships, co-ops and full-time positions.
  • Build long term and strategic relationships with educational institutions, professional associations, community colleges and internal clients, as well as leveraging innovative sourcing technologies for this space.
  • Partner with talent acquisition professionals and business leaders to understand long term and short term staffing goals and assist in implementation of sourcing strategies in support of business need.
  • Represent MAXIMUS at conferences and association meetings at both the national and regional levels to build relationships.
  • Oversee on-campus interviewing process at select schools to include  screening  resumes, build interview teams, assessing candidates, and providing feedback and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Company applicant tracking practices and with federal/state laws.
  • Utilize metrics to assess sourcing strategies to ensure effective investments are being made and report on recruiting activities as required or requested.
  • Responsible for insuring compliance to EEO/OFCCP regulations.
  • Coordinate and integrate technical departmental personnel to related initiatives such as onboarding, mentoring and transitioning.
  • Stay engaged with applicant pool by fostering good relationships and building strong and trusting partnerships.
  • Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred, either in human resources, talent acquisition, or higher education.
  • Work requires considerable judgment, critical thinking skills, and initiative.
  • Experience in both traditional and advanced talent sourcing techniques, specifically positions that are technical in nature.
  • Must be able to work independently, task orientated and committed to delivering.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% during the year is mandatory.

Target salary: $70,000
