Position Information
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Overseeing the development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring transactions
  • Strong technical command of valuation methods and all their intricacies
  • The ability to synthesize data and analysis across various transactions (whether developing equity stories for M&A transactions, credit stories, or valuations)
  • Ability to fully and independently develop fully functional financial and operating models
  • Form independent views and recommendations to be reviewed by the deal ED and/or MD
  • Take responsibility for the final preparation and review of materials used across transactions
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business
  • Oversee due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions
  • Leading execution of both transactions and origination projects (while overseen by ED and/or MD)
  • Playing an important role in client relationships and coverage
  • Participation in the recruitment, development and training of junior resources
  • A minimum of 6+ years in corporate finance, investment banking roles
  • M.B.A. or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Ability to interpret financial and accounting data and develop fundamental business stories and cases across transactions
  • Impeccable research, quantitative, and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Very strong financial modeling skills
