Join us at Valo Park in Tysons Corner, Virginia on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, for an engaging afternoon program featuring two compelling topics and authors:

Escaping the Build Trap with Melissa Perri (Virtual Appearance)

Learn why organizations deliver features rather than cultivate the value those features represent. Discover how to set up a product organization that scales, how product strategy connects a company’s vision and economic outcomes back to the product activities, how to identify and pursue the right opportunities for producing value through an iterative product framework, and how to build a culture focused on successful outcomes over outputs.

Purchase the book during registration:  Escaping the Build Trap: How Effective Product Management Creates Real Value (2018) by Melissa Perri

Data Monetization with Barb Wixom

Learn about Data Monetization – converting data into money – and how to make it happen in commercial and noncommercial organizations. Identify three viable ways to convert data into money—improving work with data, wrapping products with data, and selling information offerings—and explain when to pursue each and how to succeed.

Purchase the book during registration:  Data Is Everybody’s Business: The Fundamentals of Data Monetization (2023), by Barbara H. Wixom, Cynthia M. Beath, and Leslie Owens
