CCS: Innovation at Any Size, An Insider's View of "Sprinting" at Startups and Corporations
Rouss & Robertson Halls, Room 123
As you consider various career paths, it can seem difficult to predict whether you'll be better suited for a role within a large company or a startup. Oftentimes, you won't know until you've tried both. There's no one better than our guest speaker, Shaherose Charania, to highlight the differences between the two. She's been the Head of Product Management and Marketing at three venture-backed startups, founded and led the industry’s first lean startup incubator, through which she advised hundreds of startups, founded and led one of the largest communities for female founders in technology, and is now at Nike. Come learn what her day-to-day life was like at each point, the skills and insights she took from each role, and how, through her vision, she drove a wave of cultural change to support inclusion and diversity in Silicon Valley and around the world.
