Consulting & Strategy Conference

5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium

Considering the industry of consulting but not sure what the options are? Looking to meet with representatives from a wide range of consulting firms? The Consulting & Strategy Case Conference is for you! Participating students will have several opportunities to learn more about the range of areas within consulting in the Scott Stadium suites AND network with UVA alumni from a variety of employer partners.

Current list of employers attending: ATKearney, Accenture, Analytic Partners, Bain & Co, Capco, Capital One, CMG, Collaborative Solutions, Dean & Company, Deloitte, EY, FTI Consulting, Gartner, IBM, inCode Consulting, Insight Sourcing Group, Mastercard, McKinsey & Co., Motivf Corporation, Pace Harmon, Pariveda Solutions, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Renaissance Strategic Advisors

4:30 p.m.: Check-in (second floor, Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium; arrive early for priority seating)

5 p.m. - 6 p.m.: Keynote address from Ernst & Young and Mastercard. Topics include diversity in consulting and strategy in a nontraditional consulting capacity.

6 p.m. - 8 p.m.*: Employer lightning talks. During this portion, every 20 minutes a different employer will lead a talk focused around a niche area of consulting. This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about the wide range of options available within the industry.

6 p.m.: Federal consulting -- Accenture

6:20 p.m.: Marketing consulting - Analytic Partners

6:40 p.m.: Corporate finance consulting - FTI Consulting

7 p.m.: Technical consulting - Pariveda

7:20 p.m.: Boutique consulting - Dean & Co

7:40 p.m.: In-house corporate strategy - Dollar Tree

6 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Firm showcase. While the lightning talks are occurring, firms will be available in the suites on the fourth floor for networking.
What to wear/bring: Business casual attire is highly encouraged for all participants. We recommend you bring a padfolio or notebook, and pen or pencils for notes.
