The McIntire Office of Undergraduate Admission invites first- and second-year prospective McIntire students to attend an afternoon of professional development centered around networking and authenticity in the workplace. Students will learn how to best engage employers and other networking stakeholders from a place of authenticity with a powerful first impression. The event will feature a signature panel titled “Authenticity in the Workplace," consisting of a diverse set of McIntire faculty and EY professionals. After the panel, students will participate in a "Powerful First Impressions" networking workshop, with a reception immediately to follow to leverage newly acquired skills with McIntire faculty and EY professionals.
2-2:30 p.m.: Check-in and coffee/snacks
2:30-3:30 p.m.: "Authenticity in the Workplace," signature panel featuring EY professionals and McIntire faculty
3:30-4 p.m.: "Powerful First Impressions" workshop (Attendees will be split between two classrooms, and two lead facilitators will be allocated to each classroom.)
4-5 p.m.: "Networking in Action" reception (Attendees will report to the Rouss & Robertson Halls art gallery for a networking event with mocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres to practice their newly acquired skills.)

Dress code is smart casual (polished yet relaxed attire; jeans and a work-appropriate top encouraged).
